Finally, a game for the iPhone that doesn’t SUCK – Maybe it is because some dude in his basement didn’t create the game and EA did? Go Figure. I Hope 2009 brings stricter controls on what is available for download in the Apps store or maybe just even a better rating system – I am sure you are sick of throwing your money away on Stupid iPhone applications and or Games. We are in the midst of the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, but very surprisingly the industry to escape this will be smart-phones, with a high emphasis on the iPhone.   MyiPhonePlace.com came across this analyst note which was apparently missed by most given that it was noted during MacWorld, it had this to say: “Apple Inc. will continue to surge in smart-phone shipment volumes with further market expansion,” writes RCR Wireless’... 

In another apparent move of companies still not “thinking different” (we featured Microsoft a few days back) , enter BlackBerry(RIM) and Verizon. Apparently, the marketing dollars for RIM have run scarce in this economic climate because they have literally copied Apple’s first commercial for the iPhone. I honestly did not notice it was this apparent until I watched the new BlackBerry commercial again today and then suddenly realized... 

As you all are certainly aware by now Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs will be taking a leave of absence till at least June of this year. (Steve Pictured below releasing the iPhone 3G) Rumors began about Steve’s health came rumbling just prior to MacWorld this year as he did not give his now famous keynote speech that has brought him all the limelight these past few years. If Steve Jobs was to attend MacWorld this year what could we have expected? Maybe an iTV, a new version of the iPhone, or we even heard Apple was in talks about an iCar. Well, none of the aforementioned is going to be at MacWorld this year. But, if Steve was to go to the conference this year, it may have went something like the below. This is absolutely hilarious, get comfortable and turn your volume up. It is Classic. Or, Steve Jobs could have unveiled... 

The MacWorld Event will be a disappointment this year – there is no doubt about that. 1. No Steve Jobs 2. No Exciting Product Releases – (Unless you count on the rumors of the iPhone Nano, which I am not saying are not entirely true, but we think you will not see this until the middle of 2009) 3. Really Nothing at all to Note – I think that the most prominent story out of MacWorld will be the success of the iPhone and it’s “10,000″... 

Follow this step-by-step process of converting a song from iTunes into a Free iPhone Ringtone. Pretty much involves changing the extension from .m4a to .m4r and a few other pretty easy steps. Just in case you iPhone Phans have been asleep (or in my case, passed out…) this week; its been reported that Wal-Mart could have the iPhone on their shelves by year’s end.
